Coffee Coffee Coffee in a press!

Robert linked a “how to make coffee” article on his facebook and I giggled for a minute–who doesn’t know how to make coffee?–before clicking on the link and reading. The article wasn’t for a way to make coffee that I’ve ever tried, so I took a look around at the other how tos. Turns out I’ve been (kinda) doing it wrong when it comes to make coffee via a coffee press.
I love the coffee press! It is quick, it is simple, I don’t end up with wasted coffee I’m not drinking, and (best of all) super easy clean up! The main part I tend to skimp on is the grinding, which these guys claim is the most important part. I’m not denying that, but timing and noise levels tend to keep me from wanting to grind my own beans no matter what the benefits. Besides, I loooooove coffee, but I’m no coffee snob. While I may know the difference between a perfectly brewed cup-o-joe and the sludge at work, I have no problem slumming it when I need a quick cup in the morning and am too late to brew my own.

Yes, that’s right .. Tuffin! Not Puffin. Here’s some “she’s officially lost it .. AGAIN” doodling.
Honestly, I think I need to recapture some of my silly sketch skills. It’s been too long since the days when I doodled non-stop at Nocturna. Ideas seem to happen when doodling for fun instead of for purpose. So, I’m going to try and just put some random stuff out over the next week or so. If nothing else, should have some ideas from the margins of my notes taken in the Sec+ class I’m attending. Might be doodles of death, but it could be worse!
And, yes, that is a frosted muffin. It doesn’t have to be a cupcake to be sugary goodness!
